Find Your Way Scholarship Events & Trainings

Congratulations on being a Find Your Way Scholar! 🎉 Your work in the community is important, and we’re happy to support you through the FYW Scholarship Program.

Check out our events and trainings listed below! All Scholars receive $125 guaranteed for their community initiative, and you can earn up to an additional $125 by attending events and trainings ($25 each, up to 5).

Please note that FYW Youth Visioning Meetings do not count toward scholarship earnings—but we still encourage you to come! They’re a great way to connect, join Find Your Way, and build community with other youth leaders.

    Sunday Feb 22, 2-4pm, in Strawberry Mill Valley ($25 eligible): Create and assemble 500 take-home STEM kits with AspireED - a student-run organization that is committed to improving access to STEM education for all youth. STEM kits will include 6 at-home science activities (with instructions in both English/Spanish) and will be distributed to youth ages 4-10 at the North Bay Science Discovery Day on March 7 in Santa Rosa.   • Sunday 3/1 (Earn $25): FYW & Friends (In Person) from 11:30-1pm at Civic Center Lagoon. Come join us and meet other scholarship youth for fun and community! There will be games and food! Please register here so we can have an accurate food count.

    Saturday 3/7: Come join the One Stride run/walk team from 10-12 p.m. to create outreach videos and fliers to promote the event.

    Saturday March 7, (Earn $50): 9:45am-4pm (half day slots 9:45am-12:30pm / 12:30-4pm also available) at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds in Santa Rosa (Earn $50): Volunteer to teach 4-12yo kids at AspireED's educational STEM booth at the North Bay Science Discovery Dayand give away 500 free STEM kits. This festival brings together 107 organizations (including LucasFilm, Kaiser, Medtronic, Buck Institute, Tesla) and will have over 10,000 attendees. AspireED will offer 3 hands-on activities: (a) Invisible Ink  (b) Color changing UV beads and (c) Observing baby brine shrimp under microscopes.     Sunday 3/8: Join in the celebratory FINAL packing of the care packages for unhoused young people from 2-4 p.m.  Sweet treats to celebrate. 80 East Sir Francis Drake, Suite 2D, Larkspur. $25 for joining!

    Sunday 3/29 (Earn $25): FYW & OD Free Marin Spring Workshop (In Person) Join Find Your Way and OD Free Marin for a Spring Workshop to collaborate on creative projects and upcoming initiatives.     Sunday 4/19 (Earn $25): One Stride at a Time 5k Run/Walk from 10:00 a.m to 12 p.m. Come run for Hope, Help, & Recovery! There will be food and local organizations tabling. This event will take place at McInnis Park, 310 Smith Ranch Rd, San Rafael, CA 94903. Register Here.

    Wednesday 4/29 (Earn $25): Multicultural Center of Marin Career Fair (In Person) from 3-6pm. Register here. To confirm participation, please take a selfie of yourself at the Career Fair and send it to info@marin9to25.org.

  • Saturday 5/2 (Earn $25): Wellness Festival. Come join us to support the wellness of Marin County Youth from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.! There will be stations, a keynote speaker, food, and an art/film exhibit. This event will take place at 320 Nova Albion Way, San Rafael, CA 94903. Register here.
