Huge thanks to all of you that wandered the garden with us last Thursday. What a joyful evening! I think you’ll all agree that the vibe of the event was community and connection. We don’t get to experience that nearly enough these days, so it felt really good to share together.

Hope you were inspired by the young people and maybe even learned something new -  about entry-level careers in health care, body positivity, brushed up on your math skills, got a chance to write a Caring Card, decorate a care package, plan next year’s Queer Prom theme, develop your own resource guide, start your own One Stride race, and more. These projects are all youth-created and youth-led, and allow for deep connection with community and peers.

And we have to give a big shout-out to our Kaiser partners for the amazing mocktails, an intergenerational favorite!

The youth are already asking if we can make this an annual event, and we hope to be back next year, shining bright once again.

That said, times are tough, and we’re working hard to continue creating opportunities for young people to lead, create, connect, and make an impact in the community. If you were inspired by the evening and haven’t yet had a chance to give, we would deeply appreciate your support.
