Youth Wellness Campaign Design Session

Marin County youth are invited to participate in a virtual listening session to help shape a countywide and student-led campaign! Each attendee will receive $25 for participation!

WHAT: The goal of the campaign is to help tie together ongoing efforts that improve youth wellness and reduce harm from substance use through four action teams. Learn more about the action teams on the Marin County Office of Education’s website.

WHEN: Wednesday, November 16 from 6-7:30pm via Zoom

HOW: Please register here.

WHO: Marin County youth in middle school and high school

BACKGROUND: Last year a panel of students led a Call to Action for more resources in the areas of drug education, wellness and more.  Since that time, both youth and adults alike have been working on providing some of these key resources through more curriculum in the schools, a youth developed resource guide, more accessibility to Narcan and parent education. We hope youth, like you, will work with us to shape messaging, inform design elements and social media roll out, and think through other ways we can ensure the campaign reaches young people throughout Marin.

NOTE: For those students who love the creative process (design, writing, social media), a team of 5 to 10 youth will work with a creative director to develop the youth-led campaign. More info on this opportunity at the listening session.

For questions, please contact Nancy Vernon (nvernon@marincounty.org) or Lauren Jacobson (lauren.jacobson@bluepathhealth.com). We look forward to seeing you there!
