May is Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month
A celebration of the contributions and influence of Asian Americans and Pacific Islander Americans to the history, culture, and achievements of the United States Asians and Pacific Islanders in the United States. More than 6 million Asian and Pacific Islander Americans live in California, over 17,000 in Marin County, and of the 2,800 County of Marin employees, 10 percent are Asian American Pacific Islander.
