Cesar Chavez & Dolores Huerta Climate Volunteer Event Skyhawk Park 5800 Mountain Hawk Drive, Santa Rosa, CA The civil rights activists Cesar Chavez and Dolores Huerta fought for the labor rights of farm workers and co-founded the United Farm Workers Union. Founded in 1962, the United Farm Workers Union was the first long-lasting union of its kind in the nation and was critical in procuring safer work conditions and better pay for farm workers.
Cesar Chavez Day is a federally recognized holiday celebrated on March 31st each year. Dolores Huerta Day is celebrated annually in California on April 10th, her birthday.

The West Marin Coalition for Healthy Youth is thrilled to offer this free and fun event in the Community Gym located at 1 Lagunitas School Road in San Geronimo. The morning starts oft with delicious hotcakes made by Buck Chavez and friends. Buck will then lead the students in skills, thrills and drills in a basketball clinic. It's a great way to wrap up the basketball season and meet new people! The Community Center Van will provide transportation for our friends out West at the Tomales Bay Youth Center. Some experts have implicated the rise in social media as a major culprit driving the youth mental health crisis. At the same time, mental health innovators and funders are exploring creative ways to leverage digital platforms and tools to address the crisis and promote connectedness and wellbeing among youth.
This conversation will explore the role of social media and digital technologies in the current youth mental health crisis. How can emerging technologies be part of a supportive ecosystem that lets youth lead the way toward different digital futures? How should dominant digital platforms be reformed to reduce the harms to youth mental health--and how might those reforms be achieved? What is the role of philanthropy and the social sector in helping to address this crisis?
