⭐️Find Your Way Provider Meeting⭐️

Find Your way is a Youth Wellness campaign designed to encourage youth to seek helpful, reliable support and connection. The Find Your Way Youth Resource Guide is now available both in print and online! This guide serves as a centralized hub of information on support services, hotlines, and community resources available to youth in Marin. Marin youth developed this vital tool to ensure that young individuals in Marin can easily access the help and opportunities they need.

We would like to invite Marin providers to the Find Your Way Provider Meeting on August 17th at 12pm via Zoom.

Your input is vital in ensuring that the guide remains up-to-date, comprehensive, and truly reflective of the available resources in our area. If you have any changes to make to your entry in the Resource Guide ahead of the meeting, please complete this feedback form.

⭐️Save the Date: Marin 9 to 25 Steering Committee Meeting ⭐️

Join us for the September Steering Committee Meeting on September 12th at 4:30pm via Zoom, as we come together to observe Suicide Prevention and Recovery Month. We are honored to have Lynn Murphy, the Mental Health Outreach Liaison for the San Rafael Police Department, as our Keynote Speaker. Lynn will share her valuable insights and experiences in mental health outreach. The meeting will also include dynamic Lightning Rounds, featuring the Felton Institute Youth Support Group, a Resource Guide update, Caring Cards initiative, and SWAP program. We will also learn about Participatory Budgeting through the Marin County Office of Equity.

Let's unite in our commitment to suicide prevention and recovery, creating a safer and more supportive community for all!

⭐️ Find Your Way Scholarship ⭐️

Find Your Way is providing youth in Marin County with $500 for October 2023 - July 2024. We are looking for youth (ages 12 - 25 years) who are already participating in community programs in Marin County, or those who are interested in volunteering or participating in community work.

Our Scholarship application is live and is due on September 19. Please share with your communities! More information, including eligibility and requirements, is provided on the application form. If you have any questions please contact lauren.jacobson@bluepathhealth.com.

⭐️ OD Free Marin Opportunities ⭐️

Check out OD Free Marin’s August opportunities for trainings and tabling! Join them for a 30 minute long training on administering Narcan (opioid overdose reversing nasal spray) and how to save someone who is experiencing an opioid related overdose. Opening the World 2023-2024 Application

Opening the World (OTW) is a Marin County based non profit program. OTW serves transitional age youth (ages 16 to 26) by offering educational and vocational classes, community service bonding activities, therapeutic opportunities, leadership, and travel. ————————————————————————————

Karma Club

Are you a Marin County High School Student searching for a supportive and stimulating environment to hang out after school? We are thrilled to introduce Karma Club, a free teen space located in Northgate Mall, designed to provide a safe and inclusive haven for teens, by teens. Karma Club. is looking to build a Teen Executive Committee comprised of 10-12 members who have demonstrated a commitment to engaging and enhancing the wellbeing of our Marin teens. AmeriCorps VISTAs to support overdose prevention in California

Do you want to be being part of the movement to eliminate overdose deaths in California? The Center for Health Leadership and Practice (CHLP) at the Public Health Institute is actively recruiting AmeriCorps VISTA members to serve with the California Overdose Prevention Network (COPN), a network of coalitions, organizations, and individuals working at the forefront of the overdose epidemic. COPN aims to connect local leaders, build capacity, and implement lasting change in communities.

Up to 40 VISTA members are placed within local coalitions across the state to help bolster their community outreach, project coordination, data analysis, communications strategy and more. Apply today!
